Around 40 Japanese Drama Review

Around 40/ Chumon no Oi Onna-tachi / Demanding Women Drama

A Japanese drama released on April 2008 starring Amami Yuki as Ogata and Fujiki Naohito as Okamura. It's a japanese film which revolves on our heroine a 39 yr. old. She has 3 good friends, Mizue a 39 yr old housewife, Nao a successful career 35 yr old who works in a advertising agency and vows never to get married. And Ma-kun a chef.

Ogata has been okay living her single life. Enjoying quiet moments alone at inn's and spa and watching comedy drama and enjoying her career. And convinced that there is no hurry to marry even if she is approaching 40.

Due to certain twists in the story she begins to think about the pressure of being single and not being married at her age. Her good friend Nao who vowed never to get married suddenly marries, worrying about her family and a whole lot more.

Personally I liked this movie. It's also about life. How sometimes people who seem happy are not as happy as they seem. And about staying happy even with the pressure of things. This is a movie about life and love in general. I truly suggest this movie. Especially for singles out there ;D

Last day of 2011 and the things I learned.

Tonight is the last night of 2011! Time flies so fast, not a lot of big changes actually occur in my life but definitely something changed in this year of 2011.

I quit my 4 year job on the year of 2010 and applied for new jobs but finding a job here in our country is especially if the job you are applying is far from you course and previous job experience.

I was hoping to get a job in the gaming or animation industry. I tried applying to an animation company and got hired for an intern but didn't turn out so good so I stopped going at that company. I had to travel 6 hours everyday back and forth. I had to train for them for 3 months and not receive any allowance or anything and after 3 months it's not even sure if I will get hired in regular. So that's the end of it.

I was kind of down for some few months because it was hard to get interviews and hired. You see your friends being hired and still working and parents and relatives asking you why you still don't have a job etc. But even if I was unemployed I wanted to earn money. I wanted to work!My way somehow

I tried my hand at freelancing and surprisingly I was hired to work on a game on facebook and receive monthly assignments. Salary was not that big but it was okay, at least I was earning in some way. Then I explored the net on how to make games. I took a short course in flash but no actionscript was taught to us. I looked on that just pretty much the basic ones for coding(I am not a coder type of person, more of the graphics person but I can code stuff too :D )I have always wanted to create a game and I never had the great programming skills but anyway I looked through the net and learned some actionscript 2 and actionscript3. I was able to earn money through FGL and sell my own game for a really good amount! It's actually a dressup game ^^; anyway even though it was a really simple game. I am glad someone decided to buy what I created!

After months I learned how I can earn through making flash games. I was hired again by a big flash game site and they asked me to make a flash game using their engine. It was a really great site. All the programming was done by them and the story art and animation was all my work. It took me 3 and half months to finish the game for them but the salary was really worth it! It's probably the biggest salary I ever got from working freelance. And this got me inspired :)

Starting from June to December were my most busiest months. There were actually a number of projects I am working with and almost stable salary. So it was really nice to know that you can actually learn to work with what you enjoy. Although the downside is the social life. I am a home buddy kind of person so this was not much of an issue to me. Anyway I learned a lot this year! I hope the coming year of 2012 will open up better opportunities for me.

My friend and sister and I are currently targeting to create a website with our studio name on it with our very own created flash games. I do hope it all works out for all of us! I will post it here when we finish it!

It was a good year and I am very thankful for everything. God always works his ways slowly but surely. Happy New Year to all!

Skyrim

I love playing games staged in the medieval times. Time of adventures, sword, magic, archery. And this new game introduced to me by my brother has got me hooked for days.

I have heard of the Elder Scrolls games by name but never played any of it before except this one now which is also one of the Elder Scrolls series from what I heard.

When I looked at the youtube trailers for this game I wasn't really impressed with how it looked like especially the character creation. The characters don't look good very much but when you try the to play the game, that's when you start appreciating the graphics. I usually like cutesy type of games or really beautiful character faces to play XD

What I like about this game is the night and day shift. And the terrain is really nice I mostly waste my hours traveling the huge world of Skyrim. And of course I love the doing quests even the smallest ones. I am a quest lover XD

And also I liked that you could actually see the things your character wears from. Headgear to necklaces to gauntlets, boots, weapons, etc. It's nice to see that they actually change when you equip stuff.

There are actually a LOT to do in this game. I liked the lockpicking skill too and pickpocketing and the jail thing too where you can either just choose to serve jail time in expense of losing time and little skill or escape. So many options to choose. You can be the bad guy or the good guy.

I am not sure how far I am in the game because I keep doing a lot of quests haha XD but I really enjoy playing this kind of games. And I highly recommend this game especially for adventure lovers. :)

Interactive Kitchen Flash Game

One of my very first simple flash game. It is mostly for customizing.

A relaxing kitchen where you can arrange objects inside the kitchen and interact with them. Just use the mouse button for clicking and dragging the objects. Enjoy!

Interact with the kitchen surroundings to animate them and move kitchen objects.

Use left click to see animations of the kitchen or drag items and position them to your liking.

If you want to play the game go to this link
